I realize it’s hard to get to know people by only
reading a letter and so I’d like to offer some personal insights about myself.
First off, I roll my socks before throwing them in the hamper. It drives Bonnie
crazy. Yet, despite my best intentions, I just cannot get myself to remember to
keep them flat and separate.
Secondly, I tend to get too adventurous when I
cook. I normally follow a recipe’s directions and what not, but about half way
through I get an overwhelming urge to add things to the mixing bowl. Whether it
is croutons to microwave mac & cheese, churro mix in place of Hungry Jack,
or a dash of nutmeg in anything other than Christmas desserts, I do it all the
time and it’s hardly ever a good thing.
Also, I grew up in a large family, went
on a mission to Brazil, work at an investment firm placing stock trades for
clients, had my first novel published last year, recently sold our elliptical to
then buy a Kinect (sort of like a Wii) fully believing it would provide a
better workout, find my wife to be the loveliest thing in this world, and
anxiously look forward to becoming a dad.
